He obtained his degree as General Dentist in 2012 from the University of Los Andes\, Santiago\, Chile. During the training in Dentistry\, he participated twice in a research internship on CBCT in Endodontics at the KU Leuven\, Leuven\, Belgium\, led by Professor Reinhilde Jacobs. In March 2014 he achieved the equivalence of foreign diploma “Titulo de Cirujano Dentista” with the Flemish degree of “Master of Science in Dentistry”. In 2015 he obtained the diploma of Postgraduate studies in Advance Medical Imaging at the KU Leuven\, Leuven\, Belgium. Further\, he obtained a specialization degree in Endodontics in July 2017\, under the guidance of Professor Paul Lambrechts at the KU Leuven\, Leuven\, Belgium. \nHe works as an Endodontic specialist in private practice. He is instructor of the Endodontic postgraduate at KU Leuven\, Leuven\, Belgium. Currently he is a PhD candidate (OMFS-IMPATH\, KU Leuven\, Belgium) with Professor Reinhilde Jacobs as his promoter and Professor Paul Lambrechts as his co-promoter. His research topics are: 3-Dimensional Guided Endodontics\, 3-Dimensional Assessment of Apical Radiolucencies\, Characterisation of Root and Canal Morphology and Maxillary Sinus and Endodontics. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAccreditering aangevraagd 10AE DG 4 \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

In 2018 verdedigde hij zijn doctoraatsthesis\, getiteld: “Influence of implant design on initial crestal bone loss”. In het kader daarvan publiceerde hij reeds in verschillende internationale tijdschriften en gaf hij lezingen in het binnen -en buitenland. Na zijn doctoraat werd hij vast staflid aan de dienst parodontologie en implantologie van het UZ Gent. Daar engageert hij zich\, naast wetenschappelijk onderzoek\, ook voor de begeleiding van de parodontologen in opleiding. Sinds 2021 voert hij een postdoc mandaat uit met onderwijsopdrachten aan de bachelor en masterstudenten tandheelkunde. He directed 13 Doctorate projects for the last 5 years and published more than 80 papers in PUBMED peer reviewed journals\, reflecting his scientific international collaboration with Universities and Academic institutions where he was affiliated (Lebanese University\, University of Pittsburgh\, Siena University\, Zurich University\, ACTA\, Hong Kong University\, King Saud University…). In 2016 deed zij stage voor haar master in de Tandheelkunde in PUCPR in Curitiba (Brazilië). Van 2017 tot 2021 volbracht zij haar vierjarige master-na-masteropleiding in ‘Restauratieve Tandheelkunde’ aan de KULeuven en liep stage aan de universiteit van Bologna (Italië). \nIn 2023 ronde ze de cursus ‘Insignia’ bij ‘Integrated Dentistry & Orthodontics’ in Nederland af. \nBegin januari opende ze samen met Lieven Barbier\, Hilde Kamoen en Hans Boeckx de verwijspraktijk Centrum voor Restauratieve Tandheelkunde in Brugge. \nDaarnaast werkt ze als staflid in AZ Sint-Jan en in praktijk ParoLoppem als restauratieve tandarts.  \n  \nCV Jonas Peeters \nJonas Peeters studeerde met onderscheiding af in 2019 als Master in de tandheelkunde. \nHij specialiseerde zich verder in de opleiding prothetische en restauratieve tandheelkunde aan de KU Leuven.  \nDeze 4-jarige opleiding vervolledigde hij met een buitenlandse stage in Sydney en Milaan\, gefocust op de digitale tandheelkunde. \nHij is werkzaam in tandartspraktijk Peeters & Nuttens en praktijk Alto Dental. In de praktijk Alto Dental behandelt hij patiënten binnen een multidisciplinair team van kaakchirurgen en tandtechnici\, ondersteund door een in-house digitaal labo.
