DESCRIPTION:Webinar Prof. Ziad Salameh\, Lebanon\nThe integration of digital tools\, such as intraoral scanners (IOS)\, CAD/CAM systems\, and 3D printing\, is revolutionizing how dental professionals approach patient care\, from diagnosis to treatment planning and restoration fabrication. \n 3D digital smile design is considered the starting point of esthetic rehabilitation allowing appropriate decision and patient engagement; this technique involves IOS\, face scanners\, and mock-ups. \nLately\, 3D printing technology has been introduced in dentistry\, offering chairside solutions\, accuracy\, and efficiency. His scope of investigation embraces dental materials\, digital prosthodontics and 3D printing. He directed 13 Doctorate projects for the last 5 years and published more than 80 papers in PUBMED peer reviewed journals\, reflecting his scientific international collaboration with Universities and Academic institutions where he was affiliated (Lebanese University\, University of Pittsburgh\, Siena University\, Zurich University\, ACTA\, Hong Kong University\, King Saud University…).
